The first crow, I shared with you was the
Indian (House) Crow, now I am going to introduce you to the Jungle Crow, as the name suggests it is a crow that mostly lives in the jungle. It is very common to find Jungle Crows in the Jungle and they sound alarmed with their sharp voice when you enter
an area where they live.

Though, Jungle crow are not exclusive to jungles only, many times, we can find them in urban areas and near human population. The scientific name of Jungle Crow is Corvus Macrohynchos. This crow is also called Large-billed crow and Thick-billed crow because of its large bill. Jungle crows are widespread across Asia.

The best way to recognize these crows is to notice the completely black color on their body. Like the house crow, these crows do survive on the variety of food and they do adjust to different situations. Jungle crows are much better hunters as compared to house crows and they survive more on the natural diet, though they do love to eat human leftover if it is available.

It is not an easy task to take their pictures because of their shy nature and sharp black color. Their voice resembles a house crow; however, it is much sharper and deeper as compared to them. We can easily notice Jungle Crows in groups and at night, they mostly sleep in groups.

The size and shape of Jungle crow may vary from place to place, their useful size is between 47-59 cm. Every part of their body is glossy black. Overall, Jungle crows are beautiful black birds whom we can easily notice when we move away from human
population.
