The best part of bird photography is to meet new birds daily and learn more about their lives. Observing a small bird and then taking its pictures is a very adventurous job. Taking pictures of small birds like Tits is a difficult job because they don't stay in the same place for a long time.

Black-throated Tit is the fourth Tit bird, I am going to share with you. Earlier, I shared with you Cinereous Tit, Great Tit and Himalayan black-lored tit. Tit birds are small passerine birds and they belong to the family of birds Aegithalidae. The scientific name of Black-throated Bishtit is Aegithalos concinnus. Due to the small size of Tit birds, we sometimes do not notice them, but by following their sweet voice, we can find them.

I met the Black-throated Tit near Baijnath town of Himachal Pradesh. We can find this tit in the foothills of Himalayas from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, Vietnam, China and Taiwan.  Black-throated T…

Today, I met the third bird from Tit Family, a Himalayan Black-lored tit. Earlier, I covered Great Tit and Cinerous Tit in previous posts. I had a great experience with the Great Tit and Cinereous Tit. This time, I got a chance to take more pictures of all these three species of Tits.
I discovered Himalayan Black-lored tit when I was searching for a Redstart bird in a small rocky river. I noticed that a small yellow-black bird is trying to get my attention and when I focused my lens on this bird, then I realized that it is a tiny and very beautiful Himalayan Black-lored tit.
I never thought that I will find a Himalayan Black-lored tit so easily. This bird also looked very willing to get his picture clicked; however, due to sunset time, I was not able to get many good pictures. Though I had a great experience with him and I can surely say now that some bird enjoys communicating with humans.

Intitally, I thought that this bird is also Cinereous Tit, however, with some research, I found that the Tit with yellow color around the stomach and the breast is called Great Tit. I found a Pair of Great Tit and Cinereous Tit, both of them were searching food on same tree.
Great Tit is also a Tit family bird which is a big family of small birds. The only difference between Great Tit and Cinereous Tit is a yellow color in the stomach region in the Great Tit instead of white color in the same region in Cinereous Tit.
The behavior and size of both birds are quite similar and it is common to find these birds together in many places. Till 2005, this the Great Tit was believed a sub species of Cinereous Tit and Japanese Tit. The Great Tit found in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
It is resident bird and it doesn't migrate. Due to small size, this bird always remains under threat from big bird eating birds like hawks. We can find …
